  1. From what I can see, the younger you are the better your chances at getting your foot in the door, BSN or no.
  2. I have a BSN but I'm 36years old and have never worked in a hospital. Is it too late for me? I don't feel like I can compete with 22 year old new grads. I can't even get a call back and I've been applying to hospitals all over the area. I'm feeling so discouraged and don't know what else to do. Feel like I've wasted a lot of time becoming a nurse. Is there any way a person like me can stand out among a sea of younger nurses?
