  1. I didn't take nutrition here. I took it at a cc. I had most of my prereqs transferred in. I just took strategies, american lit, and college algebra for my first two quarters. Yes, I am in my third quarter.
  2. If you received your 2 dark blue polos you can wear those. You can wear whatever you would to school. No particular dress code for now. You don't get your scrubs until 3rd quarter. Best of luck!
  3. Congrats to those that made it to the January 2012 start.
  4. My neighbor is a student of the Chaffey College RN Program and she has told me the same thing. Students are dropped very easily if you make a mistake. They started out with 40 in January and it is now October and 17 have been dropped already. She says it's a very hard program. She's hanging in there and is hoping to finish.
  5. Hi everyone! I am new to this site and I found this thread and was reading all the experiences you all had to go through. I wish I joined sooner because I didn't have anyone to talk to during my application process. The waiting game was very stressful. This was my second time trying to get into the RN program at Everest. I didn't pass the interview process the first time around in May 2010 so I decided to go ahead and take my science prereqs to get them out of the way in the fall. I tried again and went through the info session in February finding out that the entrance exam had changed to the HESIA2. So, I studied for a month, took the test and passed. I was told that I was on the rollover list and that I didn't need to interview a second time BUT I got a phone call in May to schedule an interview. Thankfully I got another chance to interview because I did so much better the second time around. I went through financial aid and again thankful that it wasn't that bad. I didn't believe when they said I was official until I signed the official enrollment papers in admissions and heard it officially from R's mouth. = ) First quarter is done and moving on. Yay! I hope to meet some of you soon: CPTjoYjoY, Jewels, sr14, nurseddd, sweeperfc. I will be taking American Lit and College Algebra.
