Oh nice, that is where my friend interviewed and got an offer a couple weeks ago. I hope you hear back soon. Is oncology your first choice area? My interview with the recruiter went well. I am now on another waiting list, so we will see how it goes. My other interviews are going well also. Actually have an offer for January 2012, but I am still interviewing for other positions. That's great that you received good feedback from your recruiter. I hope you hear something soon. What unit did you interview for? And yes, I have been interviewing at other places. However, I agree, it is really hard. Also, I wonder if we were in the same Extern orientation last year? Did you work at NYP Weill Cornell or another campus?

That's great that it went well. Mine was all behavioral as well, and it went really well I think. I was an extern on the Burn Unit last year, but I will not be interviewing for a full-time position there. As for the wait, hang in there, you should hear back soon. Let me know how everything goes! Are you interviewing at any other hospitals?

To hopeishere: I am a New Grad Nurse as well, and I had my externship at NYP-WC too. My interview at NYP is next week, and I have spoken with somebody who already had their interview. It may be a lot of behavioral stuff, but nothing you won't be able to answer. What department was your externship in? I hear they favor NYP externs, so I would not worry.
