  1. Right there with you sister! I "self reported" to IPN and had I know then what I know now, I NEVER would have done so. I have almost 20 years experience as an excellent nurse, but it doesn't seem to matter. None of the facilities in my area hire IPN nurses and most of the job requirements for other openings say "unrestricted license". Very frustrating! Good luck and please post when you do find something.

  3. I'm entering the IPN nightmare and have just signed my contract. I have 18 years experience and am looking to re-enter nursing after taking the last year off to focus on my recovery. I'm nervous because I have been told none of the hospitals in the area will hire IPN nurses and I have so many restrictions (no home health, hospice, chemical dependency, etc) that it seems almost impossible to find something. Does anyone know of any IPN friendly facilities in the Pensacola/ FWB area?
