  1. An acute pancreatitis patient needs his pain medication and a patient who has Liver Cirrhosis was confused during the night, I am a nurse receiving report from the night shift nurse, which of these patient's do I see first? This was a test question and i chose treating the pain, because in my readings it said confusion can sometimes be a normal part of the Cirrhosis process, whereas acute pancreatitis is very painful. We have not received our grades back yet so i do not know if I got this question right I was wanting some advice on how to answer this type of question. Also a question a patient is extreme pain from gallstones has nausea and has vomited some. Which do I treat first the pain or the fluid? I chose the pain thinking maybe the pain was leading to his nausea and vomiting or at least exacerbating it. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated
