How long does the Texas nursing board take to give the RN licensure once they receive the test results? kunal

Hi, I was wondering how long it takes (months) for recent ADN graduates, in Texas, to : 1. sit for the RN exam. 2. receive the RN licensure on successfully passing the exam. kunal
  3. Hi, were u an international student ? I am and i'm kinda worried about finding a job after my ADN. Does anyone know international students with ADN's who found jobs after college ?
  4. Thanks for the info "Jetta1", really appreciate it. I thought hosiptals would only recruit males as a last resort. Thanks, i feel much better now. DO u think nurses with BSNs find it easier (to find a job) than those with ADN degrees?
  5. Does anyone know of hospitals/employers are willing to hire US-educated recent nursing grads (on F1 visa) in the houston area ?
  6. Hi, I'll soon be completing my ADN from a community college in houston(on F1 visa). I'm a male . I'm an excellent student (so i'm told) :) . 1. What are my chances of finding a job in houston. 2. should i go on to do my BSN (RN-BSN). 3. What kind of policies do hospitals have for recruiting male nurses? Do they avoid recruiting them, i mean do they prefer women over men ? thankx kunal
