  1. Thanks a lot for this link, sir. They really didn't mention anything about the CES and TOEFL in this forms. Nevertheless, I guess I have do this in the traditional way and just follow all the steps provided by the NJ BON. I just hope I get through all of these processes smoothly. Anyway, thanks a lot and regards to SILVERDRAGON and the others who replied, KUDOS! =)
  2. Hi everyone, I am a registered nurse in the Philippines and just arrived here in New Jersey a couple of months ago. I now have a green card and an SSN. As I've checked on different forums about NCLEX applications regarding the state of NJ, I found out that the BON here requires a lot ot compared to other states. Examples are the CES from CGFNS, passing the TOEFL exam and submit the passing result to the CGFNS to be evaluated, Validation of License form that needs to be sent to PRC and then PRC must sign it and then send it back to CGFNS. I just reviewed the requirements of the BON in California and it was simple. They don't even require services from the CGFNS and TOEFL. Now, I wanna ask you my fellow nurses (who I know have gone through a lot just to be there in your positions) if it would be advisable for me to make an application for NCLEX exam in CA snd if I am fortunate to pass it can I just then request a RECIPROCITY of LICENSE to my state here in NJ? Will they still require me to pass those requirements that were aforementioned? I am really taking into consideration of not making an application here in NJ for the NCLEX primarily because of the TOEFL which would cost more time and money. I really am in need of your advice. Thank you all.
  3. How was your application? How did it go? I am in the same situation and starting. All these processes confuses me.. I will really appreciate a reply on your progress. Thanks. =)
  4. hi, i have the same situation, but i'm planning on taking the toefl exam. i just want to ask if how long would it take for the endorsement for reciprocity of license to take place/finish the whole process which made you chose taking the nclex for vt? because i am just a new permanent resident here in nj. i have a gc and ssn, but i think it doesn't even matter because i never imagined the process here in nj will be complicated unlike in the other states. i was just starting to understand all the process because of these forums. i was really confused in the start and i think i jumbled the steps. recently, i just knew that the nj needs a ces review from my university, but i already gave those forms to my university and i was notified that the cgfns already received it. later then that i realized that i have to issue an order first online and pay the necessary fees. so i made my account in cgfns.org and when i was doing the order i saw these forms about validation of license which i believe is the one i need from prc to send to cgfns. now i haven't completed and paid for the order yet. do i have to do the prc thing first or do i have to pay already? i put my order on pending because i was unsure what to do and to add the toefl thing up too which was also asked in the order.. i hope someone understands what i was trying to say.. i would really appreciate it.. thank you and god bless.
