My orientation is Dec 15th...

My letter did come Sat after all, I must have checked the mail before it arrived but got it today. I'm in :-) See you guys at orientation!

I meant they said I would get a letter 'either way'.

Congrats!!!! :-) When was your interview! Mine was Nov 1st and they said I would get a letter either in 3-4 weeks so hopefully I'll here something this week!

@Val if you are still in touch with anyone from your classes let them know you have plenty buyers if they wanna sell their old books!

Anyone receive a letter yet for Jan 2012 program?

I had my interview yesterday and I think it well... Now just sitting back and waiting. Hopefully my next post will be about an acceptance letter :-)

@ashcan You were absolutely right!!! I was definitely stressing for nothing. I passed today with an overall 95%

Are there exponents/powers of 10 on the HESI? Been studying like crazy and that is definitely not my strong suit!

@nekozuki Thanks so much! Now i have a better understanding on what I should focus on these next few days. After taking the HESI will you get your score right away?

I took the TABE this morning and passed :-) it was fairly easy for me but I do need to do some studying on the math portions, it has been a while since I've covered this kind of material. I signed up to take the HESI on Tuesday. How much harder is the HESI than the TABE? The person that administered my TABE said that judging from my score I should score fine on the HESI but I don't want to take any chances, especially this late in the application process. I felt really comfortable on everything except the math. I am going to study math everyday from now until Tuesday. Are there any other subjects on the HESI that seemed harder than others? Does it cover science or medical terminology? Thanks for your help and hopefully I can join you all in the 2012 FT class! ***fingers crossed***

I'm very interested in TECOs Jan LPN day classes. I'm pretty sure I'm too late to try to get into the night session next month. I ordered study guides for the entrance exams and I've been studying because I haven't been in a classroom in over five years! If anyone wants to study together for the tests I'm pretty much free all the time! Does the Jan class fill quickly? Should I be applying and taking the exams now? I don't want to miss out this go around! The only step I have completed is my letter of recommendation. Does anyone know a good daycare in the area near the school? My son will be one when the Jan classes start. I'm excited to take on a new chapter in life and any advice any of you have to offer is greatly appreciated!
