  1. I am moving to FRESNO next month. I am trying to figure out what hospital is the best to start applying to. All the posts about Fresno are pretty old so I don't know if they are still accurate. --I have been an RN for >5 years, worked at Sharp in San Diego on Neuro/trauma/stroke PCU. I am interested in going into psych but Fresno doesn't seem to have many options so I may have to stick with neuro or trauma for now. which hospital is best to the nurses with ratios/pay/benefits etc? is there anywhere I should stay away from? How much per hour on average? PLEASE HELP! I don't know any nurses in FRESNO and am nervous about picking a hospital based on their website!. I am have to move there because my husband is going to CRNA school at national.
  2. When I was in school I had terrible test anxiety. After needing to retake med/surg class bc it was so bad I decided all I could do was my best. I studied hard for every test, and every time walking to the class I listened to the song "that I would be good" By alanis morissette. It calmed me and made me know that I knew all I could at that point and now my goal was to be calm during the test. It worked for the rest of school and even the nclex (most stressful of all). I passed w only 75 questions. By the time u r sitting there with the exam you need a clear focused mind. For people with anxiety it is hard but if u work on it and find something to keep u clear u will find u can pass . If u studied and know your stuff, remember that as you walk in! Good luck:)
