  1. @StarLite1980 I had a friend who was in KSU nursing program, and she highly advised me to never take research online. She said it took all her extra time to just scrape by this class, it was not worth it to her to do it online.
  2. @ForHisGlory24 Perfect idea. Lets plan to meet up in those months to give everyone time to kind of look over things.I hate that they are cracking down on patho notes, just bc you have someone's notes does not mean you are going to understand it and pass anything without any hard work or reading the book. I heard one student was kicked out of nursing school because they were selling their recordings of lecture with their notes....I would not go that far, but any tips from prev students would be great. @proms2009 I am kicking my self right now, bc I just bought my calc w conf yesterday....if only I had waited 24 hrs :)
  3. I do believe mail does not run on Columbus day @StarLite1980 Thanks so much for the reply! Where did you get your book, and for how much. I was thinking about ordering online, but I want to make sure I get that CD. I like working problems on the computer. I saw so cheap prises online, but after shipping it would be about the same as buying it at KSU store. @ForHisGlory24 Let me know what you find out about meeting up. It would be great to have a white board where we could work out the problems on a larger scale.
  4. @ForHisGlory24 I am currently in the traditional program, but has a slight chance of getting bumped up to accelerated. Maybe we could meet somewhere in the Nursing building, I am sure they have an open area. I know they did upstairs in the biology wing where we would sometimes meet bc nobody knew of it. I am free all day Sundays and Fridays.
  5. Hey I vote we stay on here until official FB group is made. Also just throwing it out there, if people would want to maybe meet up and start studying for the calcualte with confidence test, I would be up for it. I live in the Kennesaw area and was thinking of maybe once a month to practice.
  6. Thanks StarLite1980! I am just nervous about having a full Summer semester off. I did not think there was a wait list for accelerated. I thought maybe if someone dropped accelerated then they would move someone from traditional up that has a BSN already, and therefore open up on wait list for the traditional program.
  7. OMG, I pull up to my apt and the mail guy is slowly sorting out everyone's mail. I had to sit in my car for 20 mins before I could check my mailbox. I was jumping up and down that I got in! The only thing I am wondering about is for people who applied to both the accelerated and traditional program. I got into the traditional, however I already graduated from KSU with a biology degree and qualified for accelerated. If someone from accelerated drops out, do the people who got into traditional get bumped into the accelerated program? I would still be just as happy to be in the traditional, but getting finished early does sound nice for my work schedule. :anpom:
  8. jaxmom1216 you are a SAINT!!!!! I could not bare checking the mail hourly this past week, but now I know that something should be here in the next few days! Good luck to everyone, it has def been a long and exciting journey.
