Hello, I also got into the program starting next spring. I am currently taking pharm and life cycles II at Saddleback. The Life Cycles classes are super laid back, each class only meeting 8 times. So each Life Cycle class is only 8 weeks with class just once a week. I didn't buy the textbook or study outside of class and I have a high B. As for pharm, that is a whole different story. There is only one professor that teaches the class there and she is intense. Many students blame her for being tough, but reality is: Pharmacology is tough no matter who teaches it. Yes the class is intense and the content is vast, however the class is totally doable. She knows it is a lot to learn, so she has quizzes every week on the previous material, instead of testing on 30 chapters on a midterm. It would have been easier to take them before starting the program, but I have heard of many students taking them during and doing just fine. Just depends on how driven you are and how hard you study. Congrats on getting in! If you have anymore questions, feel free to ask. I have friends in 2nd and 3rd semester there and friends that just graduated from there this past year.
