  1. Did you take version A or B?
  2. I'm in too! WOOHOO! Congrats to everyone else too!
  3. I didn't get anything yesterday... I'm hoping I'll hear today!
  4. I'm so glad I'm leaving work early today! I can hardly stand it! LOL!
  5. CONGRATULATIONS!!! YAY!!!
  6. Someone that spoke to *****, the guy that handles all of that! He said he mailed them today!
  7. FYI... I heard they mailed the letters today!!!
  8. Well, like I said... just something I heard. LOL! Who knows? Someone in a class said it never let them do the evaluation for the nursing program, but did for another program... but now it's letting them do the nursing. I dunno... I've never used it myself. LOL! I guess we'll get our answers soon, though! :)
  9. Just a little tip of something you can do to see if you made it... if you don't like waiting on the letters. I've heard this, don't know if it's true, but... if you get on "Mineonline", and do the program evaluation for Nursing, and it actually works, that means you got in. Otherwise it will give you an error message saying there's no evaluation available. Like I said, don't know if it's true or not, but worth a shot? :)
  10. Yay! So glad the waiting is almost over!!!
  11. Well, I spoke to the guy that handles the nursing apps/letters again, just in case (after what Mac heard). He said they'll definitely be sent out this week.
  12. You will all be happy to know that my anxiety got the best of me and I called and spoke to the guy who handles the nursing applications! LOL! I'm horrible! Anyway, he says the letters will go out either Friday or early next week!!! WOOT! Now I can relax a little, knowing the wait isn't much longer!
  13. I know I should be more patient, and I wouldn't normally call, but I couldn't stand it anymore! Of course, I wasn't paying attention to what time it was, and it was right at noon... I'm assuming lunchtime. A girl answers the phone and asks me to hold. I sit there for 9 minutes, and finally hang up. From then until 1:00, there was a recording saying everyone was busy. My assumption is, they were headed to lunch and didn't want to take anymore calls. If that's the case, why not just NOT answer the phone instead of putting people on hold? So, I talk to a guy about 1:00, and he says the guy I need is out to lunch and will be back at 2:00. I call back shortly after 2:00, SAME GUY tells me the guy I need is out sick and I'll have to call back tomorrow. I mentioned that I had been told he was just out to lunch, and he says, "Oh, it must've been a miscommunication". Yeah! A miscommunication from you! SORRY SUCKERS! LOL! I guess this will teach me to just be patient! :Þ
  14. LOL! I've got you beat, Mac! I went through Fall of 2010 AND Spring of 2011, and threw in my own experience from this Fall... just to kinda get an idea of timeframe. It's crazy, though... each semester has been so different! Glad to see someone else obsessing with us!
  15. LOL! I know!!! I keep watching, hoping someone will post a message that they got their letter! Of course, then I'd have to wait 'til I got off work to go home and check my mail! I really don't think we'll have to wait another 4 weeks... and really hope we don't! Just based on the past semesters, I'm guessing 2-3 at the most. Let's all cross our fingers!
  16. As far as clinicals, I only know that they are 2 days a week, 8 hours each day. They have day and night clinical hours available, from my understanding.
  17. Well, plus for me... I got my CPR certification in March! LOL! I guess that's a start?! I'll check into the shots for sure. Thanks!
  18. Well, you're way ahead of me! I'm not even sure what I need to do as far as immunizations, if anything. I have my shot records, but don't know if that's good enough. As for supplies... WOW! Again, WAY ahead of me! :)
  19. LOL! I was doing that early on! I'm trying to stay away from them, though. I'm HORRIBLE at waiting... no patience when it comes to stuff like this! I thought it would be easier this time since I've done the waiting thing once before, but if anything it's harder because I didn't get in the first time. I wish there was a fast-forward button we could push!
  20. Are we there yet?!
  21. Well poo! Of course, I'm not completely surprised. I'm so bad at waiting that I've researched the last few semesters of postings on here, and my own experience from last semester... I still say we'll probably know by the last week of October. I hate waiting too! :smackingf
  22. That's crazy. It probably happened because they sent them out so much faster than usual. Hopefully that doesn't happen with the acceptance/denial letters! LOL! That would be my luck... someone else would get my letter while I'm sitting here full of anxiety!
  23. I got mine too! Last semester the acceptance/denial letters arrived about a week after the verification letters. I wonder if that will be the case this time! Maybe it's faster since fewer people apply for the Spring? We can only hope!
  24. I'm estimating the end of October is when we'll find out... at least based on the time it took for the last application period. BLAH!
  25. Hey everyone! This is my 2nd attempt... I was 1 point shy for the Fall, but had that 17th point once the spring semester was over. It all worked out for the best, though, so... God willing... I will get in for spring. I HATE the wait, though... I just get too anxious! :) I applied with 17 points, and I believe about 3.25 GPA. Hopefully that will get me in. I've been informed that the cutoff for preference points is 16 for the spring semester because fewer people apply than they do for the fall. Crossing my fingers for all of us! Good luck!
