    I am a student nurse, graduating with an Association Degree this December. I am planning on going farther (my BSN) ASAP and then specializing. The question for those of you RNs with experience, is should I spend X amount of time on the floor, getting my feet wet or immediately start heading in the direction of what I would like to specialize in? Your input is greatly appreciated!

    I am considering specializing in Forensic Nursing once I graduate from nursing school. I figure I am in school mode so I may as well keep trucking. Have any of you looked into this? I am wondering what the pros and cons may be. If you have, can you pass on a college/university that would allow me to complete it online? Thank you!
