  1. [color=#500050]i share a car and childcare duties with my husband and he works 5:15am-2pm (i stay home and watch kiddo while he works, he stays home and watches kiddo while i work/go to school). i need to take bio 202 in the fall. i also need to get a job, as a cna/patient care tech/etc. available job openings seem to have hours of 7 am-7 pm, 3 pm-11pm, or 7pm-7 am. if i did a morning class i would have the same availability for work everyday (3pm-11pm and 7pm-7am). if i did a night class, i would have open availability for any shift on tuesday, thursday, friday, saturday and sunday but no availability on mondays and wednesdays. i don't know how willing employers are to work around lack of availability on days i'll have class. taking a morning class would be inconvenient but doable, as i could take my husband to work and then go to class while my sister watches my son. i live far off any bus lines so public transportation wouldn't work for me. should i take a morning class or a night class?
  2. I had a preemie born at 26 weeks in September of 2010. Michelle, the nurse who took care of me that day, was the most incredible woman and everything positive about nurses all rolled into one person. She bent over backwards to take care of me and made sure I was never alone, gave moral support while I was delivering and came to check on me after they had moved me to another ward and off her service. It was an incredibly traumatic day and I'm pretty sure I made it through with my sanity together only because of her. She's the reason I was inspired to become a nurse. In all my life I have never met someone with so much empathy and compassion before. The care I received from her was extraordinary. I never made any formal comment about her because at the time I was so distraught with everything that happened. However, I would like to if I can. I only know her first name and the fact that she worked in the perinatal unit at St. Joe's, though. Who would be the appropriate person/group to get in touch with? St. Joe's? The state board of nursing? I don't even know her last name so I am really lost on how to start!
