  1. Yes I would like to.....unfortunately it costs $1500.....so quite a bit to waste if I don't like it
  2. I am a Canadian RN in Texas......any others on here? Well I have been out of practice for 15yrs!! When I graduated I did not like nsg at all. I worked in a tele med floor and HATED going to wrk everyday! I felt like I didn't know anything and was scared to death everyday! Was this normal?? I tried a nsg home then left the field to raise a family. Since then I have many regrets of failure and now do not know what career path to choose. I wonder if I am now a "different" person and maybe if I take a refresher and try again, I just may find an area in nsg I like....but it's such a leap! Anyone else have similar situation or advice? I would be 42 and starting out as basically a new grad. Or should I just work in retail?
  3. Hi everyone! I am very interested in reading everyone's success in reentering nursing. I grad fr a canadian RN diploma program in 1993. I only practiced 3 yrs in NY before becoming a stay at mom. At the ripe old age of 41 I am now trying to decide what to do with my life. My brief 3 yrs of nsg were not a great experience but I now wonder if my maturity will make it any easier. I don't want to spend time and money to once again leave the field. So I ask........any CDN nurses here in Texas that need a refresher? Anyone know the job market for "mature" newbies? Anyone know if they hire RN's with only a diploma bckgrnd? Thanks everyone.........appreciate all info!!
