Hey! So i was able to register with no problems! Im excited we have Tuesday and Friday off! I'm actually looking for maybe a Part time or PRN job?? If you guys know of anything definitely let me know!! About the financial aid stuff...same here...if I didn't call I wouldn't have known that there was a special form that needed to be filled out! But they told me that they send out all nursing financial aid together so hopefully we get it soon so we can go ahead and pay our summer bills which are already up! I am definitely up for coffee! I'll email you nursejen07....I also stopped getting emails with updates from this website! Stats is not a favorite for me at all so this should be an interesting summer! I am excited about starting though!!I am actually flying in May 8th in the afternoon and flying out May 10th, so just in town for orientation! We will be moving up the weekend before classes start! I've been looking up apartments like crazy! No luck yet, but the hunts still on! Let me know if you have any suggestions for East Village or anywhere really downtown that would be convenient for NYU!!! THanks guys can't wait to meet you soon!!!:yelclap:

Hey guys! Wanted to let you know that I got my acceptance letter last week!! I am so excited!! I was actually in New York looking at apartments when I got it, so I went ahead and gave my deposit! I haven't received anything since then but she told me I should be getting an acceptance packet in the mail this week. I was trying to log onto albert to look at classes and register but wasn't able to find it, did you guys already register for classes?? If so how, could you tell me how to do it! Im coming back up to NYC for the orientation on May 9th, are both of you going to be there?! Also, who do we talk to regarding classes and how we register?? Were actually looking for apartments in east village, soho, little italy, and basically the lower side of manhattan but its really hard since were looking for a 2 bedroom and super expensive, if you guys know of any good places please share! I can't wait to meet you guys soon!! :yelclap:

It seems like everyone gets a different answer when they call the office, particularly with finding out when they send out emails and stuff. Today she told me they will be sending out letters for the next couple of weeks..but either way yes or no we should be getting an email! Fingers crossed hoping for the best! About the 20 admitted...she told me that when I called but yet again I don't know who to believe there, so we shall see! Good Luck, let us know if you hear anything!

Congratulations!!! I called them yet again today and they said they are still reviewing applications...so the waiting process still continues, the worse part! If you don't mind be asking what did you apply for part time or full time? also what's your background?!? I hope I get something soon!!!!

Hey I was just wondering if you knew anyone else that got in after you?!? I'm still anxiously waiting an checking my email every minute...around what time did you find out?!! Did it say anything about how many ppl are in the class.. I called today and they said they would be sending out acceptances through the week into early next week...heard anything on that?!? I'm soo nervous, praying every minute for an acceptance email!!!!

Do you think they probably sent them all out at once or you think they will send them out in bunches...Also, I called today and she said we would find out towards the end of this week if not early next week...what do you think do I still have a chance?!?!

Nope haven't heard anything yet...it seems like they give everyone a different answer! I'm so an anxious though at this point I just want to know! I'll let you know when I hear something. I don't even know if it's going to be email or post?!?

I actually submitted my application in December, I think it was the next day after they posted it...The reason being I was actually all set to apply to NYU's Psych NP Program before they started the FNP Program.I don't think it'll work against you because its on a rolling basis. My first choice has always been FNP though. I called them today and she told me they are only accepting 20 students!!! That is crazy, so Im not sure how many students applied due to tuition and it being a new program. But she told me that was what she heard last. She also informed me that they are trying to get out decisions as soon as possible so may even start sending them via email so people can make decisions quicker! I am really surprised with only 20 students being accepted that seems a little low to me. Im really nervous though checking the mail and email everyday! Let me know if any good news comes your way!! As for me background wise, I graduated from NYU in January 2011 and have worked in the Burn ICU for 8 months and am currently working in Acute Psych right now in South Carolina so it'll be a big move once again to the big apple, but this time with my husband;0)

Hey! Has anyone applied to NYU's new FNP program for the summer (May 2012)? If, so I was wondering if they wanted to share they're background and if they had any info on the program! I applied to the full time program and was told we would get a decision within two weeks of the deadline, which is March 1st. Hopefully we can use this forum to find out if we get in together and meet some people in the class applying! Any info is appreciated! Thanks

I have applied to Barry's CRNA program for Spring 2013! Does anyone have any suggestions on how I can make my application strong and standout! I work in the BICU currently and will have 1.5 yrs of experience!
