Attention all nurses: I am a nursing student and for one of my assignments for school is to ask a nurse who practices in the population-focused nursing. This means you could be a school nurse, a staff nurse, a director of a nursing home, nurse practitioner, Vice President of nursing in a hospital, staff nurse in a public health clinic, or a community health center, and last a director of nursing working in a health department....My questions are, "What is the scope of practice for you in your nursing field?" & "Are you able to carry out population focused practice?" & "Could you carry out population focused practice if you weren't already, and how would you?"
