Did anyone get a phone call or status change today?

CONGRATS to all who have gotten in!!!! I'm panicking because I haven't received a call and my status is still committee ready. Anyone else still waiting to hear????

I just found the thread from last year and it looks like the week of 11/18 was the week last year! That means another three weeks.....Ahhhhhhhh!

I am having a hard time understanding how you can get accepted into this program in MID-November and have to go to orientation, background check, physical, blood titers for vaccinations, TB test, CPR training; etc... all before the beginning of a January semester... in the midst of holiday season. The stress of the weeks following acceptance is more overwhelming than the wait to find out if I am even accepted.

These last few weeks have been driving me crazy! Does anyone have any idea when we will know their decision?

So glad my application finally says Committee Ready! Could time go any slower???

I will be working in the evenings and staying busy with three little ones. I have been doing this juggling act for a while now. You can do it! Let your daughter motivate you!

GreyLady, Your insight is very encouraging. I am waiting to hear if I got accepted into the Spring 2012 BSN program at UMSON. I feel confident in my essay and volunteer work. Unfortunately, I had a rough start with community college after high school. As I have matured and started a family, my education has become a top priority. I really hope I am accepted; I have worked so hard to get to this point.

I have three little ones. 7, 3 and 15 months. I am just hoping my husband remains as supportive and helpful as he has been. I'm am worried about juggling the kids, work and the nursing program. I just say, "sleep is for the weak." :dzed:

Luckily my transcripts come from Anne Arundel Community College and Howard Community College with no cost to send. It was nice to feel like they had everything, but now that they don't and it's back on me, I feel stressed again.

They misplaced my two transcripts and my pre-req. course list. They received them, logged them into my file and then lost them. Ahhhhh! Now I have to send them again. I have been assured it will not effect my eligibility. Just one more thing to do (or three).

I'm freaking out!! Tara from UMSON called and left me a message to call her. I hope everything is okay with my application. I tried to call her back and had to leave her a message. Has anyone else received a phone call from UM?

marec22, I applied to Spring 2012 at Baltimore and my application status still says complete ready for review. Waiting is torture! Good luck to all candidates!
