Freaking out.. Hello everyone, I just took my NCLEX-RN today and feel like i am going to be sick. this is my Third time taking the test. All three times i took all 265 questions. I have such mixed emotions right now, after the first time i also did the hurst review and obviously it didnt help me because i failed again. So after the second time, i paid like 200$ to take an online class through ATI with a private teacher and must have spent hours studying, not to mention completed about 25-30 exams.. my teacher online told me that all my scores were amazing. I guess with ATI your aiming for a 60% because that is considered mastering the content. I was receivg high 60s and 70s, so a week ago my teacher gave me the last test the predictor and it said i had an 89% change of passing on my first time! (so considering this is my third i thought i had it down) I tested today, took me about 3 and a half hours. The first 100 or so questions i felt so confident about, because i read the question and remembered studying that content... however then i started freaking out because i thought to myself "well if im doing as well as i think i am why am i still getting more questions?" i took a break ate a snack, and after i came back it was like a different test. All the questions seemed soo complicated, and more knowledge based as oppossed to application based.. needless to say i wasnt knowledable on the medicines i saw on my screen =(. Im just not sure what to think.... my teacher told me that it sounds like i did well, that everyone feels like this... but for me its like life or death. i need to pass this test! i dont have the $ to keep paying to retake it, and i feel like the more and more time it has been since i graduated school (in march) the more i am forgetting, not to mention those student loans are coming in. Any advice on how to relax for the few days.. and in the event that i do not pass again.. what i should do?? i feel like i have every review book at home, and have utilized all my resources already.
