  1. Hi, I am a first semester LVN student. We were given an assignment to complete a concept map based on lab values...I think I know all of the electrolyte embalances, but am having trouble speculating what could be happening and why. I think the patient is in renal failure. Here are the lab values that I was given: Sodium 124 Potassium 5.0 Chloride 91 co2 23 anion gap 15 glucose 298 bun 35 creatinine 1.0 bun/creat ratio 35 calcium 8.1 phosphorus 1.8 magnesium 2.8 So far I have Hyponatremia, hypermagnesium, hypocalcemia, hypochloremia. Can someone please help me?
