Dear Friends: A friend of mine in Oklahoma is looking for an NP job and I am wondering where many of you have found success. Is it with a recruiter, word of mouth, a newspaper, a university or somewhere on the web. She is not in a rush and wants to explore all her options but does not want to travel the country from useless interview to useless interview. She also needs some tips on what to look for in a job proposal and interview. I told her to come to South Carolina. It is beautiful and the people are friendly. Plus I know of a WONDERFUL doctor who is looking for a Nurse Practititoner, but she does not want to move so far East. Well any ideas you have would be helpful. Also if any of you out there are interested in a Nurse Practitioner position let me know. This doctor is very easy to work for and I believe he will be very competitive with his offer becasue he has a growing practice and needs help. My Nurse PRACTITIONER works for him now and she lo0ves it but she has 3 children and has to drive over an hour to work and it is wearing on the family. I know she would be happy to talk to anyone interested and let them know the working condiditons. She is very frank. However I know she does love it there.
