  1. I think you will be accepted. My scores were quite similiar but I don't remember them anymore. Hesi was around cumulative 97% and critical thinking was 880. Because accel program requires a prior degree there are not as many applicants thus improving your chances.
  2. I am currently in my 2nd semester. The first summer semester was brutal but this one has been easier to manage. It is a great school in many ways but not perfect.
  3. My stats were science 3.67 and overall 3.5. My hesi was 97. I know people who got in with less than that. When are you supposed to find out? Seems like there is still plenty of time. Do the best you can on Hesi. It would give you an edge.
  4. They came in staggered shortly after the acceptance email. I think everything from MyUTH to last email happened within a span of a few hours. I received 3 emails total.
  5. Science gpa 3.66 prereqs 3.5 and Hesi 96.77 with a 880 on CT
  6. Yes, I applied for both but there is only a change in summer application. Fall remains unchanged.
  7. I haven't clicked accept yet but I have recieved two emails stating that I have been accepted. Plus, all the info for financial aid and requirements, holds etc has opened up to browse. May 21st is the first day of class! So close.
  8. wow, your right! Me too.
  9. I received an email this morning for a wed interview.
  10. no, maybe in a week or two.
  11. Thats understandable. Not really a concern for me though. I don't miss class and I don't fail tests. It seems that most people who get accepted would be in the upper echelon of students and not really ones who fail tests. I can imagine that a small minority might screw off but I cannot imagine that is much of a concern for most of us. Not to mention, pretty wise to "release' students who are not getting it enough to pass.
  12. Was hoping maybe a little was online to save on commuting.
  13. Thanks Hemphia. That is awesome news about skipping the summer and finishing earlier. It was the only reason why I favored UTHSC over UTMB. Do they offer many classes online?
  14. Well, maybe they knew you were "readyforutmb!!". Have a nice celebration tonight. That is very exciting news!
  15. Wow, that is awesome. Congrats! I have not received anything but what a relief to not have to wait anxiously for another month.
  16. I am kind of hoping that we will hear something in March. Did you apply for both Bacc2 and Fall?
  17. Just for the record I have not received an eval either.
  18. I went back and looked and saw what you were talking about. The box underneath the To Do list and it said the same thing that your link said. I am taking Nutrition and A&P 2. I wish the site did provide more information. It would also save them time from having to take so many phone calls.
  19. mine is the same. No changes. I wish there were some changes. maybe b/c I still have 2 classes to complete this semester. SO my application is not complete.
  20. I don't know yet. I feel like I will figure it out when I get there. I think I will take what I can get at first!
  21. Only 88? That is a great score. The science portion for me knocked me down a ton? I haven't taken chemistry in 15 years and know nothing of physics. I also foolishly refuse to do anything but jog my memory of things a day or two before HESI or TEAS b/c I want to actually be prepared for a program and not acing a test that I studied my butt off for just to struggle that hard in the program. Sounds weird but either you know it or you don't. But a disadvantage to some, testing is not there thing. The entrance exams are questionable b/c some people study really hard to ace exam but that doesn't mean knowledge is easy for them. Someone who studied months and took tests many times might not be as prepared for program as someone who took test knowing what they know and accepting grade they get. But it's competition. Interviews are not failproof either. Do I know a better approach? No. They have to do the best they can do but I can tell you that with an 88 you have nothing to worry about. My first choice is UTHSC b/c of length of accelerated program. I would love UTMB as well but wish it was quicker.
  22. My pre-req gpa is 3.45 and science is 3.66 and TEAS was 87.3
  23. I only know people who have been accepted after an interview but vaguely remember reading a post that mentioned that if the stats are good enough that you can bypass the interview. That would be pretty sweet though, huh?
  24. First choice is accelerated at UTHSC but Fall Pacesetter is easily gaining as #1 choice. UTMB is favored only in that I think I think it is a cool campus and I like the vibe of Galveston but as a single mom I cannot take that much time off from work so I need speedy programs so I can quit work and fly through and get back to work. I live in the loop and own a condo so moving would be a huge hassle but not altogether out of the equation. I honestly thought that when I started pursuing this that I had little chance of getting into UT but I am feeling a bit more confident that I have a chance. Trying to be optimistic and realistic. I even applied to UT in Tyler where I could move and have the help of my family. So, I have applied for technically 4 programs at 3 schools. Tedious process. What are your preferences?
  25. That's what I wish about my gpa's...that they were a little higher. A lot of those grades were from many moons ago and not necessarily reflective of who I am now. But, alas, they are what they are. You are right, there are many paths so whatever happens there is always an alternative.
