@Esme 12 Asstiant of course you are confused so I will try to explain to Everyone one last time because I'm sure we all have better things to do then go through my posting dissecting every word right? As stated before I was not posting to gain knowledge on "nursing " in particularly. My posting was far deeper being that I am a life learner first who loves to help people through what I learn. If there are thousands of threads similar to my topic.and no one had a problem "rehatching" their experience why now would they be resistant. ...seems suspicious. Also, as mention before I have asked many other Professionals these same questions without ANY resistant. Also,, I must correct myself ...actually I was considering a career in nursing and also another Graduate option that I actually recently was accepted. Also, in response to me saying "God Bless you" trust me when I say it I really really mean it and it has no bearing on another's religion or non religion being that I myself am not "religious". Finally, I will say that I know that there are some great nurses with good hearts out here and I wont let the actions of a few stop me from loving... this experience actually gave me ALL the answers I needed as it relates to certain people, myself and situations. Therefore, If anyone else have anything to add, critique, insults do so freely, but. I no longer have neither the time nor energy to entertain it. I pray you all be bless thankyou.

@rntransition727, Thank you so much for your insight. I am very passionate when I am misunderstood. I love to learn from different people and I have asked others such as lawyers, teachers, I.T guys, to truck drivers these same simple questions with no problem. ...until now. This have truly enlighten me. Also, I'm not a student and I wasn't posting to gain insight as a career switcher. I often say God bless you", but this is the first time anyone was offended. Anyways , people often ask me how do I have so much peace.? And that's usually because my heart is too big to entertain certain people and things but on rare occasion being human I am caught off guard. Thankfully after this I still have my peace and Joy that is priceless. I will let Go and Let God from here. I wish all a Bless nursing career and may many doors open for you All. PEACE!

Obnoxious Doctors
I think my response have been very reasonable but when your dealing with people who obviously are miserable and spend their time policing threads it gets crazy. I am not a push over I just innocently post random question for people to answer Intelligently . I wasn't expecting a few unhappy and miserable people to response...and when one person plant their seed of misery on here it's like a chain reaction and I'm definitely a person of reason trying to figure out what's the problem. I will fight back but some times it's not worth it. Im very analytical, deal with the mind and very emphatic, but after tonight I see that some people are just plain old Bitter and not worth the fight . Goodnight Dear

Lazy coworkers
Soldier nurse you are not policing my threads to even answer the RANDOM question I posted you go straight into attack mode as your name imply. In my opinion your behavior do not make a good nurse and I sure would not want you caring for me because you obviously lack empathy amongst other things. I will leave it at this and then you can continue to police. God bless you from the bottom of my heart. He loves you and so do I . Goodnight

Honesty is NOT the best policy...
I was told that a ex employer could not answer why you were fired to a potential employer....only whether or not they would rehire you. Anyways all you have to do is gather some awesome reference from maybe a former coworkers, or supervisor that u had a good relationship with heck grab somebody off the street. Then apply somewhere that they are desperate for nurses just to build back up your resume...a nursing home, jail or country rural area. You have to do what you have to do don't be despair take a step back and look this whole thing over again. It looks better on the other side I promise : )

@ladyfree, no I have not search the thread since this is a topic I created today to get insight from those who are interested in reading my post and answering it as posted. Although, this may be a sensitive issue I find that open minded people who may like to help others, or even share with others who may be going through this are not at all shy about talking about this on forums where they can remain anonymous. Although, I have notice that lately the thread police are out in full force. Also, I really am not up to date on searching threads. I don't think that even if I knew how... I would spend the time searching throughout I'm sure numerous threads since this is not homework, but just a question. Thanks

People calm down! It is just a random question I put out for people to answer just a simple no or yes, or elaborate if you like. It may help someone out who is going through this or who have already been through this. I have been through alot in my life and I love to help others. ...because I do have a heart.

Former Teachers turned Nurses?
I also taught school. Cons unruly kids, no flexible hours, mandatory meetings, no overtime pay. Pros: nights, weekends, holidays, summers off making it family friendly especially if you are a single mother. Also, depending on your school district and location some teachers get paid very well with benefits and retirement. Nursing cons: alot of nurses may work in the hospital with 12 hour shift as a new nurse you may have to take what you can get. I don't know about you but I don't too much like the idea of being away from my kid and hubby overnight . #2 physically demanding a toll on your body as you age. #3obnoxious doctors and staff. #4 retirement benefits? #5 can easily lose license and highly competitive . PROS #1 More flexible then teaching. More job options in many different areas of nursing. Higher .income potential. Helping and teaching role can be implemented.

A Nurse and A Go-Go Dancer
Maybe just stick to dancing and wear a nursing out fit. Heck some dancers get paid more then nurses...plus tips you cant beat that. : )
