Collin College Spring 2013 applicants
Thanks so much!! I did find some crocs that has a closed heel and only $44. Crocsâ„¢ Neria Work | Comfortable Women's Work Shoes | Crocs Official Site Would the little logo on the side be ok? I haven't tried them on yet or anything... just trying to search for prices before I head to stores. So are you getting all of those books for semester 1? I thought we only need 3. I saw the NCLEX one, that's a good idea, I might do that as well. I am married as well with two small kids. Thanks for letting me know!

Thank you! I did get the packet and she went over several things with me. Do we have to order or buy our scrubs and shoes from somewhere special? Or just as long as they are that type? Do you know where I can find shoes that are 98% white? I am nervous but so excited!!! Thanks for all of your help.

I got that letter too. I also got the acceptance letter the same day. Mine said I had to accept and have things turned in by December 14th. I hope you get one too! When I talked to them she said she had pulled a few files. I'm not sure if to choose between them or to add that many more. Good luck!

Online Nursing
It is. You still do clinicals at a hospital and I think you still go in for some lab classes. I think it's just the lecture part that is online. Did you learn a lot from lecture or more from when you just read it on your own?

Online Nursing
Thanks, are they nursing classes or are they general courses?

do you think you spent more time with the online program then you would have if you were in a class setting?

Online Nursing
Thanks everyone for your replies. I have an AA in just general studies and would be going for my BSN. I've taken classes online before, but "easy" ones to me at least. I have just heard so much that Nursing school in general is hard so I didn't know how that compares to nursing school online. I am thinking about doing online because I have two small children that I would have to get a sitter for. But my other option is at Collin College and they are a LOT cheaper then a university. I haven't sat down and calculated out the costs exactly for both, but I would imagine with babysitting for community college and not babysitting for an online program at a University would be about the same. If I go to Collin College I will just have two Associates degrees. But I do like learning in a class setting. Any suggestions or has anyone gotten their RN online? How much time do you invest with online classes? Can you take fewer classes at a time or do you stay on the same schedule as those who are in a classroom? If I tried it for one semester, how hard is it to switch to a classroom setting at a different school? Thanks!

Online Nursing
I was wondering if anyone has taken an Online Nursing Program to get their RN or BSN? Is it hard to understand the matrial without being in a class setting? I'm looking at applying to the A&M Commerce online program and wanted to know what people thought of it that have taken it themselves. Also, is it harder to find a job if you got your degree online? I know clinicals are at a hosptial and they will have some lab classes that you will go to the campus for, so I think it's just the lecture classes really that are online. Let me know what think. Thanks!
