I just moved to TN from MI while my husband is attending med. School. Since we are in a place with absolutely no distractions, I figured this would be a great time to pursue my goal of completing a degree in nursing. Unfortunately, I've set myself up for failure by having a lot of zeros on my transcript. When I first started college, I was working a job that was conflicting with school but needed to stay employed so ended up compromising my GPA by not completing or dropping several courses. I currently have a 1.8 GPA. I've retaken a few and plan to retake 3 more this semester. I know I can do well now that I'm older, more focused and determined with less distraction. I'm just concerned they won't even look at me because of my current GPA. Has anyone else been this position and gotten in to a program? Any suggestions?
