Heidieh- I know you can do this-- I BELIEVE IN YOU!! :) :) I hope you are applying to other schools. If your GPA is high you will get in somewhere. Not every school uses the TEAS and luckily we have a decent number of schools in W. WA that you can apply to. It's hard not to feel defeated but I promise you didn't make it this far for nothing. Hang in there and and don't give up!!

Heidieh, no I don't know anyone who got in with a 75 this quarter but I've read on other threads on here, one quarter had as low as a 74 and another with a 78 so I think there is hope! EvCC started using the TEAS fall 2012 (i think i read that on their website) so it had to be within the last 2 years. Yeah I know what you mean about the mail, we get other peoples mail at least once a month. So annoying. It's odd that at least 2 people on here haven't received anything yet. Did they at least confirm that something was mailed and if they had the correct address?

Hi Heidieh! Its Molly (from anatomy, phys, etc). I'm so sorry you still haven't gotten your letter. So frustrating! i can't understand why they just don't send it via email. I'm crossing all my fingers, toes and eyes for you!!

marculi - I am going to retake it else where if I don't get in for spring. I really like your suggestion doing it on my time. i haven't had great luck with their office either. Good luck to you! (Even though I know you will get in!) :) and now we wait.... AHHH!

For some reason I'm not getting notified anymore when someone posts. I did get an invite kkay, THANK GOD! Lol but I decided to not retake it. I'll retake for fall if I don't get in for spring. I like the suggestion of taking it elsewhere on my time. Plus if I completely blow it I'm only about a year from being able to retake instead of almost 2. My friend got in for winter with an 80 (she was wait listed initially) so I think you and I really have a chance!

Marculi, I just saw your post. Thank you SO much for your input! I got a call the Friday before the deadline that my background check had expired. I rushed and did another one immediately and it went through on Monday (the 5th) around 3pm. I called the school to make sure they received it and due to the privacy of background, they would not confirm or deny if they got it. I was in tears. Complio showed me as compliant and nowhere did it say my background check expired. The school told me at the last minute so now I wait for a TEAS invite. SO FRUSTRATING! If they didn't get it in time then I'll have to pay for another background check to apply for fall. I don't want to wait that long to retake it while its still mostly fresh. Thats a really good idea to take it elsewhere. Where did you take it and how much did they charge?

I ran into a classmate who got into EvCC winter with TEAS score of 80. So we were very close kkay! I have a good feeling for spring. WE CAN DO THIS! #79.3club! :)

Hi Lucylyn! Yeah the application process was a little daunting to get everything submitted into Complio. I'm sure your grades will be processed in time for the winter quarter deadline and your TEAS is score is AWESOME so I'm sure you have nothing to worry about! I'm still debating over retaking the TEAS. I don't like how they will only take the second score if you take it twice and I would be devastated if I scored lower and blow my chances for 2 years. Eek! Well best of luck to you and hopefully I will join you as a classmate :)

Just wanted to start a thread for spring applicants and can post TEAS scores if desired. I got a 79.3 on my first attempt and didn't get in for winter. I am stuck trying to decide if I should retake for spring. They only take the second score so its a gamble if I happen to score lower. Anyone else in a similar situation?

Yep I'm using the ATI study guide. The first 2 practice tests I scored in the 60's and thought for sure I was screwed. I was pleasantly surprised to score 79 on the actual test. The invite came so quick which didn't leave me much study so I'm hopeful for my second try knowing its 3 months away. I won't give up though, I'll retry every quarter until I get in. I worked too hard to get this far to give up! Thanks for the encouragement and best of luck to you on your exciting endeavor!

Congrats on getting in workhardbekind! How exciting! I found something on another thread that EvCC has something going on with UW Bothell that took a bunch of spots. I haven't found anything concrete about it on EvCC or UW Bothell websites so I'm not sure of the details. I also wonder if this is something they will be doing regularly. But if thats the case, I'm sure it will make spring more difficult to get into. Does anyone know what the lowest score accepted for winter was? I mailed my app for spring yesterday and I'm going to study like crazy over the next few months and retake the TEAS. I feel like I could do better the second time around.

I'm sorry and I totally get it. This journey has taken its toll on me as well. So disappointing!! My letter said they took less applicants in Fall? Do they say that every time or was there some special reason for that? Yes def apply for spring! At least we get 3 chances a year. Have you taken the TEAS twice already? If so, was it a totally different test the second time around?

I'm sorry kkay29 I'm not off work yet to check the mail but we got the same score so I guess that means I won't get in either. Super bummed for both of us. Do they do a wait list of some sort in case some who were accepted choose not to accept?
