An2on thank you again you've been soo helpful! I went ahead and ordered the forth edition because it was only 6$ on amazon with shipping and all! But ill buy the packet when they actually have the spring books posted. When does the nursing program actually tell us about all of this stuff that's going to happen at the beginning of the semester? At orinetation? Because I feel like they haven't given us much info about the program at all! And I'm glad to hear we can get any shoe because I love nikes too! So ill prolly get some of those..and 45 isn't bad ill check out the nike outlet!

Jase I went to the bookstore the other day to see how much the bundle was with the dosage workbook in it and it is 340$!! I was going to buy it but they said it is the one for the fall 2011 semester and they werent sure if it would be the same bundle for spring because the nursing department didnt turn in the books for spring 2012 and they are past due of the deadline. so she told me to email the nursing dept n ask them. So i emailed the receptionist of the nursing dept and she said to wait until they update the books for spring because some editions have changed. so I might just do what you did and buy a cheap one and then just get the packet when they update the book list. so have you gotten a chance to look @ the workbook yet? Is it just like math problems for us to practice? ohh and I am probably going to get k-swiss shoes from somewhere besides that uniform website because those are pricy, but i do believe they have to be all white. An2on what would you suggest about the shoes?

Thank you! So you would suggest just buying the whole bundle from the bookstore instead of buying the book separate? What other book does the workbook come in a bundle with?

Thanks for all of your help an2on! I know you say not to buy our books until the semester starts..however, what is the name of that dosage calculation workbook that we need? And where is the best place to get it? I want to go ahead and get that one so I can start looking over it before the program starts.

I think that they only have one location which is in fayteville. I would just call the number that is on the website and double check though! I called and signed up for Friday November the 11th! And im glad you are choosing CSU! I havent seen you in class lately haha!

hey mom2011! the website for the place is http://www.ertss.com then just click on course schedule and look for the bcls for healthcare providers and it will give you the class days/times as well as the phone number! Have you heard anything from gsu yet?

Well the lady emailed me back and said we can get the card whereever as long as it is the BLS for healthcare provider through American Heart Association. I think the place I found is..but I probably will just go ahead and sign up for the one in Fayetville on Fri Nov 11 from 9-12 pm just to be safe(since that is one of the places they recommended)

Ohh okay maybe I will look into that one too if I'm not working that weekend. There is also a place I found called Georgia CPR LLC http://www.gacpr.com/openclass.html this is there website. They are located in Decatur, which isnt far from where I live. However, i asked my advisor if this would be okay to get it here and she forwarded my email to the lady in charge of documentation and she hasnt answered me yet..so if if i don't get a response back from her maybe ill just do the one in fayetville.

congrats to you too ingodstime!! Has anyone signed up for the drug screening/background check on that website yet? Also, where is everyone taking their CPR class? Soo much to do! lol

yeah i just made my account too. I guess thats a website we will be using for alot of tutorials and stuff! but I see the magic for meds thing but i guess we just read it on there and we dont need a book? I am confused on that. lol because it says version 3.0 but on the checklist it says 2.0.

Ohh okay! I'm sure where I took it was fine I just always get paranoid about that kind of stuff lol. So do you think they sell that meds book somewhere else cheaper? Also did you make a login name and stuff for that meds magic website yet?

Hey jase! Did you turn your acceptance agreement in to the lady that is the recepptionist in the nursing office on first floor? Just want to make sure I took it to the right place because there were others taking it there too. And about the meds book I think we do purchase it correct? Also on the uniforms idk I wanna try myne on but idk how that would work lol but I think 2 to 3 pairs will be enough

but im thinking that if she got her waitlist letter today then they must have sent those out earlier in the week. because if they sent letters today then i doubt she would have received that letter from the batch of letters that went out this morning. im am so freaked out now..i just can't wait until this whole process is over :/!!

I don't know who she has but I think that might be the same teacher. Im going to lunch with her tomorrow so I will ask her! if she can help you out! She also applied to the nursing program @ clayton! I haven't taken the CPR class yet. If I get in I will probably take it next Wednesday or something. I found a place online http://www.gacpr.com/bls.html that is the website. The certificate we need is the BLS certificate and they charge only $50! It's at Dekalb Medical and they offer a bunch of different days/times!

Yeah I heard we will have a orientation like 1-2 weeks after letters go out to meet out professors and they will help us with our schedules and stuff. But I emailed my advisor this morning and that is how she told me the letters went out..I was so ready to ask her if she could tell me if i was in or not..but i was afraid she wouldn't tell me so i didnt ask! lol but I only took Chem I and it was sooo hard for me!! I had taken a Biology sequence so they accepted that in replacement of the chem. but I have a friend who is in Chem II at clayton now and she is doing really well so if you want I can ask her if she can help you!!

I hope soo too!!! GSU is big but I really liked the school alot.. I am also getting adjusted to Clayton's campus (this is my first semester there also) so I hope I can stay there too!! Did you make a schedule up yet for next semester?
