    Hi all! I'm interested in joining the army as an active duty nurse. I did meet with a healthcare recruiter. He answered some of my questions, but of course I thought of some more after I left. How long does it generally take from beginning the application process to being accepted? How does the application process work? He was talking about presenting the application before the board. He was pushing to complete the application soon because the 2012 boards might already fill their need for nurses. How does that work? The recruiter wants me to go to MEPS within the next couple of weeks. Should I gather more information before I even go to MEPS? Sorry if these questions are random. I don't have any military experience, so this is all new to me. Thanks for the help!
