  2. Wow! Thanks girl that's great going to the site now!
  3. Victoria Foster. She was great I got an A. I think she does the Graduate program now.
  4. Yes. I'm actually retaking A&P 2 and micro because I applied for Gordon, but I've declined there spot.
  5. Good 94! Tomorrow is my last micropractical and one final and it's a wrap
  6. I mailed mines Saturday, went to the post office in Morrow lol
  7. That's still reasonable. My doctor charges to sign forms $25 smh
  8. Wow! The physical is all I'm concerned with, but you can get it at the school for $20
  9. I'm not sure! I was going to call to see about that, because we should be given at least another week to do all of this. I
  10. I'm in too guys congrats!!! Can't wait to meet you guys!!!!
  11. I'm at school getting ready to take a practical I can't concentrate now
  12. Check the duck! My MAJOR CHANGED AND I WAS ABLE TP REGISTER FOR NURSING CLASSES! I'm SHAKING SO BAD TOOK ME 30 min to sign in!!!!
  13. I do think the odds are good if it's 55-60 slots, and 70 interviews! I hate that they hold onto some slots for failed currently nursing student, but if it were me I'd want my spot reserved too.
  14. She applied in the fall which is supposedly a lot more competitive. She applied this term to with a better score. I'm honestly not sure what her determing factor was, but I would go with the score. It seems the score is making a difference, but it all depends on the selected group as a whole. I'm so nervous, I want in! I hope we know next week.
  15. Hey! She got waited last year, but her Kaplan score was like a 70. They've already determined the scores, and people with low scores have been probably denied by now. It seems like 70 and above is the aim. I scored a 79. So we shall see. From my understanding you either get a confirmed seat, or waitlisted. I'm curious as to how much weight the interview holds. My interview was impressed that I made an "A" in patho.
  16. Did they say rejection, or wait list? I was told it was 70 interviews and 55-60 spots. I also was told that the last interviews would be given tomorrow, and class mate told me letters will go out next week for the final decision. My interview was last week.
  17. When is your interview?
  18. There are 10 questions. They are basic interview questions. Ex: Your strengths and weakness, why nursing...etc. Don't be nervous it really was a fairly stress free interview. Good luck!
  19. Hi Guys! I got an email today for an interview!! Finally we are closing this waiting game! Check your CSU emails, and personal emails! Good Luck!
  20. Hey. The minimum score needed on the Kaplan is low 60's. I took the Kaplan and scored a 76 for clayton (which wasn't good enough ). The test is fairly shorter than the TEAS V exam. We used a calculator for the math, and they were fairly simple problems (fractions, and proportions were the most seen on my test. The Reading was fairly simple for me I didn't study this portion...you either can comprehend or not, I just didn't think it was too much to study for. The science was ROUGH, VERY SPECIFIC, I mean as specific as specific could be in the systems! There is a thread that talks about the Kaplan, and boy I wish that I had found that post prior to taking the test! EVERYTHING she stated to be on the exam was on it for science. The English was very surprising to me...its in SAT format (essays that you picked what didn't belong, or what was missing) This section I did the worst on, because I was shocked at the format (the book didn't give you these type of problems. I have to repeat my A&P I because its 7 years at clayton and 5 years at Gordon. I'm doing that this summer, but I'm not giving up! Do you know if they changed the need to be a CNA on their site, I didn't see it, but could have sworn I saw that previously. Anyway I think the Kaplan is the better exam.
  21. I didn't know they extended the date. Looking at last years post, April was when they got letters, and calls. Patho was a breeze to me....chem was more of a challenge. I have all my classes out of the way, and I am hoping that gives me a little more weight. Good Luck to you all!
  22. Well I got an A in patho in a summer course! It looks like April is sounding like a realistic target. I called and i was told Christy Hicks is still working on the list. I'm so nervous!!!
  23. Hi guys! I am thinking about applying to GA Baptist as well. I recently applied to Clayton State (fingers crossed). I wanted to apply for a 2 year as a back up (GPC), but I missed the deadline because my TEAS was a written exam. Did I see that someone is already accepted (congrats if this is true)?! I thought the deadline was April 1st. I will make a decision on whether I will apply this week. This whole process is so nail biting. Anyway, I wish you guys the best of luck.
  24. Hi tbird88! The TEAS V exam can be very stressful! I had more success with the Kaplan exam. IMO, the reading section is simple and straight to the point. In the reading section they score you on comprehension, both paragraph, and informational source. If you are good at comprehending you should be good here. I recommend the ATI book, or Mcgraw hill for a study guide for this. The math section is numbers and operations, data interpretation, and measurments. Know how to do the math in the ATI book (I think this is true to test). NO CALCULATOR!!! So get scrap paper ready lol. The science....BOOO this is by far is the most mind scrambling section of this exam. They are testing Human body science, life science, physical science, earth science, and scientific reasoning. Know the following: Human body: all anatomy and Physiology the charts in the ATI book are all you really need. Life Science Mendals Law, punnet square, adaption vs. natural selection, DNA vs RNA, mutations, and genes. Earth and Physical: Kinetic energy vs. potential energy, vaporization vs condensation vs. evaporation, ph scale, protons, and neutrons and electons, physical and chemical properties of water. THIS SECTION TO ME IS WHAT DOOMED ME! I recieved my lowest score in this section killing my science score. Scientific Reasoning is pretty much self explanatory. If you've ever done a typical science fair board you will be ok here. English: Subject verb agreement, complex, compound, and simple sentences, spelling (very few), sentence structure, capitalization, punctuation, and dialogue. ATI, Barron, and Mcgraw Hill would be your best study guide! If you have purchased A and B versions of the practice test through ATI you should do well. My school changed to the Kaplan (THANK GOODNESS) lol. There was this weird question about the bath tub on my test! I never understood that question! Research this board for other tips! A girl gave me tips on the KNAT and everything she said was on my test! EVERYTHING! Almost as if we had the same exact exam, and she took it 2 years prior. GOOD LUCK TO YOU!!!
  25. Hi Tragan, I actually took Patho with Clayton state. I don't think it's required prior to starting the program, but they may have changed that. My advisor recommended that I take it, but it is actually a nursing class. Good Luck!
