Ok, I will try these options out!

I tried Westchester Community College and all the classes were full. On top of that their financial aid process is the most weirdest thing I have ever encountered. See I am currently unemployed and I feel that this is the right time to do this. I actually thought that there were some Nursing schools that also offered the pre-reqs. This is almost the same as getting into medical school!!!!!

Do I apply as a prenursing student at the CUNY or do I apply as a regular liberal arts student that is taking a few classes?

I actually live in Mount Vernon, NY which is a city in Westchester County. I was told for the CUNY schools that they do not have Nursing as a second degree programs.

Well I am trying to retake my pre-requisites and I cannot find a school that is willing to give them. I was wondering if there was a program that offered everything as a whole package? Since i have a bachelors degree I honestly thought that things would be a little easier but it seems I am wrong and I so desperatly want to do this. Any suggestions?????

Hello everyone, I am currently trying to get into nursing school here in NY and this seems to be the hardest thing that I have ever tried to. I have no idea how to do this. Ironically, I have a B.S in Public Health and I went to Medical School to become a doctor for 5 years in a foreign country but was not able to actually finish( that was 6 years ago). I thought that all these things would made matters slightly easy for me to actually get into Nursing school, little did I know! I have looked for so many nurses for help but the ones I know do not want to share info o maybe they just do not know themselves. I honestly need some extreme help. I am currently unemployed and all I want to even do is just get a Nursing degree. My dream is to practice and teach nursing and I am not going to give up on my dream. Someone please help!!!!!!
