    Yes it is true that after 2015 you will need a DNP inorder to practice as a nurse practitioner, however my understanding is that if you are certified before then you would be grandfathered in. as far as good programs, requirements vary from state to state. You need to make sure that you are aware of your states requirements before starting a program. Good luck!
