What are some of the major issues facing CRNAs today? Is there really a CRNA shortage? I have done a lot of research on the web, but most of what I find are the advantages of the profession. I am currently working as a nurse in a PICU in NYC and and seriously considering pursuing a career in nurse anesthesia. I want to know if there are any disadvantages to the field. Any info would be helpful. Please help me out! Thank you!
I am doing some research on CRNAs (maybe something I want to do in my future), and I was wondering why some of you decided to become a CRNA. I currently work as an RN in a PICU, but don't think it's something I want to do forever. Just curious to know what brought you to be a nurse anesthetist. Thanks!:)
