  1. I have what may seem like a silly question. Is/was anyone else scared before starting nursing school? I have been an xray tech for 10 years, and have worked in CT for the last 8 years. I feel bored with my job and don't really have different prospects for the future in this field. I feel like I want to do something "more". I have applied to a nursing program (waiting to find out if I will get accepted). Some times I feel so excited about the possibilities of getting accepted to this program and getting started, other times I feel so scared about it. I don't know if it is normal to feel nervous like this (fear of the unknown). Any thoughts?
  2. I have ADD and I know that I have a very difficult time reading and comprehending what I have read. I take Adderall and although I hate that I have to take a drug, it helps my mind to focus and allow me to retain what I have read.
