LPN to RN Programs in the Portland area?
Hello, I'm thinking of transferring from ND to a school in the Portland area after I graduate and become an LPN. I will continue on for my RN. I was wondering what are some affordable, but good nursing programs in OR?

difference between BSN & RN
Okay, thank you! It doesn't affect the way you get paid once you're working as an RN?

difference between BSN & RN
I've been looking into different nursing programs, and I was wondering, what is the differnce between a BSN and the other routes of becoming an RN? The school I am at now offers first an associate's degree in the science of practical nursing, then a BSN degree. I've been considering transferring schools because I want to move, but it's been difficult for me to find many other schools offering a BSN program for LPN's. Why?

Thank you both for your help! I suppose the LPN-RN-BSN route wouldn't be that bad. It seems as if it would take the same amount of time, I'd just be hopping from school to school...

Programs in OREGON/WASHINTON?!
Hello, I will be graduating this spring with an associate's degree in the applied science of practical nursing which will allow me to take the boards to become a LPN. I want to continue my education and receive my BSN so that I may become an RN. I'm from North Dakota but I want to make a change and I plan on moving to the Washington or Oregon area. I was wondering if anyone could suggest some schools in that area that offer a BSN program for LPN's with an associate's degree. Any help would be much appreciated! THANK YOU!
