i am having trouble debating on whether or not i want to go take my lpn then take my rn after i am done having children or just go directly for my rn.... what do you have to do to become an rn? like classes and such. can you become an rn through a votech school or just a collage? how long does the rn program take for a full time student? i would appreciate any info i can get. thanks
hi, i am looking for info on the pre reqs needed for the lpn course. i plan to do as many online as possible this coming spring since it is too late for me to do them now. i can't fully start my lpn right now due to us moving before i would be able to finish the course. also, does anyone know what it takes (cert wise) to work in l&d and possible nicu/peds? thanks
thanks ladies :) my mother is trying to get me to go for my mat first then my lpn. she said i wouldn't want the job of a cna.... but i think that anything is better than just sitting around. nurses will be needed forever. lol:lol2:
i am looking at my local votech school and i was wondering what the difference is between a nursing assistant and a basic medical assistant... i am taking my lpn in august 2012 so i need nursing expierience lol. both courses are good for 30 hours of collage in my area. thanks!
