  1. I've also heard from a family friend with 3 songs in the military to "not take the first offer" is it true that you can haggle with them about your benefits? I was told to tell them i'm also interested in the air force? could this help?
  2. Okay, so. I am entering as a senior in high school, and I decided I want to be a nurse in the navy, just like my grandmother did. I turn 18 in October, I am in the top 15 percent of my class, I am very involved in school, and I want to know a little more about the process. My dad said that its possible to enlist before starting school, then go to school, and go into the navy after finishing as an Officer. Is this true? Also, would the navy be paying for my schooling? If so, would my scholarships still apply? I have no idea how this would work, and I'm looking for some professionals that know a lot more about this than I do! Are there physical requirements for this? Will I have to go to basic? Do I have to oblige by all of the same rules - no tattoos on face/neck etc? What is my best option/plan to become a navy nurse? Any suggestions/help for a clueless girl? Also, I was wondering, I heard the Navy has a dance team.. Is this true? If so, does anybody know much about it? Thanks guys, in advance!
