There is so much going on in the world. I feel like I have skills, and want to help. I've done med/surg/onc for 5 years. Can anyone direct me to a website or group that I could get me started? Thanks!
  2. What's the deal with floating after four hours? I just started at a new hospital, and they consistently will float me to another unit after four hours. Is this common practice? It makes me not want to travel! It's bad for the patients and bad for me! Help!
  3. My company pays very low, but I am housed alone with a high housing stipend. Do the companies that pay high also have high stipends? Does it all average out in the end? Just wondering if I should move on...
  4. I'm considering buying an exercise machine weighing about 130 lbs. Any ideas on how I could move this with me? Does anyone know of inexpensive moving companies to move such an item? I'm gonna be skinny! Thanks!

    What about summerland?
  6. I'm a brand new traveler, w/2 years experience in California. I'm with CCTC, they are offering me $21/hr w/$1000/mo housing. Is this fair? Anyone heard anything about Sunrise or Mountainview hospital in Las Vegas? I'm just now noticing how much stuff I have to move! I'm planning to continue traveling after this assignment. How does everyone move so often? Do you put things in storage? Or just become minimalists? :chuckle Thanks for your help!
