  1. I am a L&D RN, 37 weeks pregnant, just moved to FL from IL, and just started a new job 4 weeks ago. I am so frustrated because I feel as though I have lost the confidence I had in my skills since I have started the new job. I came from a level 2 facility to a level 3. It is a HUGE learning curve for me. My preceptor does nothing to aid in building my confidence. In fact, I feel as though she is agitated by the things I do not know. The system is very complicated, and still with TONS of paper charting. I feel as though I have completely regressed in my knowledge base. I am normally very quick at picking things up and remembering them, however here I am not feeling as if I am transitioning well. I feel like I stick out like a sore thumb. Not to mention, I go on maternity leave in 2 weeks. I truly want to quit, and I am ever so home sick. I have never been a quitter, and I'm doing my best to hang in there. Any advice?
