Hi Noonaa, You say you got into Jan intake at Douglas, how long ago did you find out? I'm waiting to hear about Winter 2012 intake for Psych Nursing (which as far as I could figure out is about 2 weeks behind the RN program in terms of getting offers out) but so far I can't find anyone that has heard.

As of last week they should have been done calculating the preferential scores with offers being sent out as early as this week. I haven't heard yet for psych nursing but I know atleast on BcSN student has found out (last week) that she is in for January

I've been reading the CSNA forums and it seems that most people were receiving their acceptance letters or saw a change in status around August for the winter applicants and March for the fall applicants, but some were seeing status changes as early as mid July

I think you're talking about Karlyac - I've applied at Douglas not BCIT, I applied on January 30 and got all my info in by the end of March which was my cutoff (maybe to be considered for early admission? I'm not sure why it was needed so early)

Mine has said "Ready for Preferential Review" since May, I just want to see something updated, the wait is painful

Is this for psych nursing or regular nursing? I hope they post our scores, it'll be nice to see a sign that there's something going on behind the scenes :)

Has anyone applied for the winter 2012 semester? I'm waiting to hear news and its driving me crazy. The response I got from the admissions assistant was extremely vague and unhelpful

I've applied for the January 2012 intake for psych nursing at Douglas. I emailed the admissions assistant last week in regards to when I might hear something and the answer was sooooo vague. They haven't started the ranking process yet and they send out letters right up until December because not everybody accepts, and should I be on a waitlist I still have a chance to start in January. So basically very unhelpful, I assume it would be the same for the RN program. I'm interested to hear about when others hear about the winter 2012 intake.
