  1. Thank you for your reply, I was contacted by my monitor they had to update the system for me to be allowed into the area I needed to be in. Now I am currently doing my CEU and I will be ready to submit. It's been a long long road but I've came too far to give up now. Just keep swimming lol. Wish you the best of luck in your situation.
  2. I was approved today to apply for my license for reinstatement. Everything is now to be completed online and when I go online to apply for my license it gives me 2 options for application type, either examination or reciprocity. I have tried both because the first one didn't work and I am getting nowhere. I had stated in the beginning the I've held a license previously in Ohio and nothing I do is working. Have any other Ohio nurses had this same issue and is anyone able to help me. I call and email the board but they are next to impossible to get in contact with. Please and thank you for any help you might have.
  3. I'm still here. I am scheduled for my face to face next week and am really excited but at the same time nervous as can be because I don't know what to expect. Anyone have any advice?
  4. Does anyone know that if I am to complete a year before I can get my license reinstated is that my "contract" or is that another thing to complete outside of the reinstatement? This has me all confused!
  5. I mean how long was it before you heard from the board once you submitted your paperwork to begin drug testing? I haven't started it yet.
  6. Ohio. That's what I figured, that they were all different but it's been almost a month. Just getting impatient. I guess I am at their mercy. My 2 yr suspension will be up before I can get the year long process of drug testing done.
  7. I am an Ohio RN and have had my license suspended for 2 years d/t diversion and am waiting to hear back from the OBN regarding my drug testing and meeting slip requirements. I sent my paperwork in about a month ago. I entered treatment Oct 2013 and surrendered my license. I heard back from them fairly quickly. I was done with the board hearing by July. That seems to be quicker than I've heard from several other nurses. I hope you hear from them soon!! I know that wait is what drives you insane. I am constantly at my mailbox every time I hear the mailman. I just want to move forward.
  8. I am currently into the second year of my license restriction due to narcotic diversion. I have sent in my paperwork to begin drug testing and the required meeting slip. I am curious how long it took some of you to hear back once you submitted your paperwork. It has been almost a month. A little background on me. I worked in a neuro/telemetry unit and after about a year began diverting pain medication. I have had 6 knee surgeries and built up tolerance and was not being treated to my liking at the time and diverted meds out of pyxis. I was off work for 3 months and my first day back was confronted about this with 5 or 6 different disciplines in the same room. That was the beginning of the end and a brand new start. I owned up to what I had done and the hospital didn't press any charges on me but were only concerned with getting me help. I had a woman from HR come and help call different rehabs to help me get into one. Long story short, I was admitted, completed inpatient and have a little over 15 months today clean. I am ready to begin the next chapter of this discipline and would like to hear of the experience of others in the area. I am hoping to hear from the BON soon so I can move forward with everything in the hopes of getting my license back and get back to my passion.
