Yeah they're pretty quick about getting back to you, I think I knew by the end of June or early July (the deadline was June 15th). The waiting is the worst part, for sure lol. Hang in there!

Hi Narika, I was accepted fall of last year. My GPA was a 3.9 or so, but there are people that got accepted with around a 3.6 because their personal statements were strong. If you put a lot of effort and thought into your statement, rest assured you have done everything possible, and now it's just time to wait for the outcome!

I'm pretty sure they don't send out formal letters unfortunately... But! As far as the registration goes, I was trying to get registered for a study abroad trip in the winter and there was a hold on my account, so I called the CON and apparently they were still waiting on some last-minute acceptances and whatnot, and they were waiting for all of that to get squared away before "drawing" the new class into their system. They said by the middle of this week we should be good to go so maybe it's good now.

They said we will have classes summer of '12.

I already live in Tampa... There's a ton of places to live around here, especially the student-styled housing. They'll be running specials over the summer I'm sure. Places like The Province, Campus Club, 4050 Lofts are popular. Lemme know if you have any questions on Tampa living! :)

I had the same question! I posted on the SOAR discussion board and asked if they knew whether or not we would be taking classes in the summer of 2012 (trying to plan a Eurotrip! )... I'll let you know what they say when they get back to me. :)

I don't know where you are in your college career, or if you're at USF already, but maybe you could consider picking up a Public Health minor? A lot of people do that to spend their time wisely before applying to the CON again.

Ever since they mixed up the game and started taking volunteer experience and personal statements into consideration (other than GPA only) it's made getting in much more of a "surprise"... Before if you had a solid GPA you were more or less guaranteed a spot. Have you looked into other schools?
