Hi, I start Mercer next Monday so I can help you with a few questions. Chem is not a requirement (thank goodness) and from what I heard at Orientation, they took 140 students out of around 800-900 serious applicants. My teas were 81.3 and my GPA was around 3.4 I believe.

Hello, I was accepted about a week ago! I am so excited to start.. a little nervous, too- but more excited than anything! I'm getting married three weeks before and getting back from the honeymoon a week before. It is about to be crazy!!Has anyone started a Facebook group for our class yet? I'm coming from Kennesaw. Anyone else in that boat?? Can't wait to meet everyone. I, too, have been stalking this site forever.

Thanks everyone for your response. Unfortunately, I had to turn it down. Right now, that is just something I cannot do (the drive). One thing I considered was starting at the campus in Rome and then going to the Marietta campus once they opened it. She said I could not do that, I had to finish where I started. I asked if there were any plans to open the Marietta campus back up and she said there are no plans as of now but that doesn't mean it won't happen. I was very sad to turn it down but hopefully someone else will get the opportunity and everything will work out. Someone please let me know if she says anything else about the Marietta campus at orientation. Good luck to you all!

Hi, this is my first post on this site. I am in a bit of a predicament.. I got my rejection letter from school when letters went out. I live in Kennesaw and applied for Marietta. Today I got a call asking me if I was still interested and of course I am but she said they aren't sending people to Marietta campus this year, only Rome. What is the drive like from the Kennesaw/Marietta area to Rome? I am really hesitant to accept because of the distance. I am new to GA so I just wanted to see what people think. Such a bittersweet phone call! Thanks.
