Thanks kelvin. Did you go through the system before it changed, earlier this year? The points system changed and allocation of points seems to be diploma or higher at 50 points, or acceptable trades 50 points. I would have thought i could still get points with nursing being on the POL. In the process of hopefully getting a job offer - fingers crossed ! Thanks for your reply Tracey

Hi, I am in need of advice please, Working my way through eoi form with immigration, have already been registered with the nursing council of new zealand BUT can any one tell me what level of qualification is equivalent to a 3 year new zealand nursing programme. I did the hospital based certificate in uk and am NZ registered as a General Nurse. I am struggling obtaining points for recognised qualification. Any UK hospital based certificate RGNs out there who can help. ? level diploma or certificate and should i gain points for my qualification ? Thanks !! Tracey
