  1. HELP! Taking the NCLEX in 12 days and was hoping for help on what I need to know about different drug classes (most importantly adverse effects or essesntial assessment data before administering) Also, common suffixes so that the class is easily identifiable even if I dont know the drug
  2. I just try and remember the most important pieces of assessment data: Addisons: low salt and sugar, high potassium and calcium, sexual dysfunction, hypotension, bronze skin, generalized weakness Cushings: high salt and sugar, low potassium and calcium, weight gain, hypertension, fragile skin, generalized weakness, moon face, hirsutism Hypothyroidism: think of everything being slowed down so you are constipated, hair doesnt grow and dries out, your heart will slow down, you have cold intolerance, weakness, weight gain hyperthroidism: everything will speed up so you are tachycardic, hot, may have diarrhea, thin shiny hair, tremors, weight loss
