  1. hey prcoach, I got my results in today. I got a 34 on the academic aptitude and 23 on the reading....ouch. Not going to give up though! I'm going to take a shot at the second chance and pray for the best! I hope you did much better than I did! I know how the test it now so I'm not going to freak out as much but I guess the pressure is on since it's my last chance:uhoh3: oh well, best wishes!
  2. I just took the exam as well and had pretty much the same experience you just described! since there were 90 questions for the first part, you would need at least 45-50 questions to be correct in order to pass. I don't know about the reading part though. Good luck to you! I'm hoping to have passed as well. The next two weeks are going to be a living nightmare for me.
  3. alright, thank you so much! I'm taking the entrance exam tomorrow and I am so nervous!
  4. What do you have to get on the entrance exam in order to pass? what is the minimum score?
  5. So do they separate both parts of the test? such as: They give you the math portion for an amount of time, take it back, and then give the reading part?
  6. Some people are so rude! but I guess it comes with the job... I always think: Never be rude to your nurse, waiter, parents, or even enemies.
  7. This is kind of late ... but best wishes!
  8. I don't think it should really be such a issue as long as both parties remain professional at work.
  9. You should try ECU or UNC-chapel hill in North Carolina. They are real good colleges with pretty good nursing programs. ECU, although a party college, is quite easy to get into and definitely look at character and improvement in grade rather than GPA. best wishes!
  10. Try ECU, UNCC, or UNC-chapel hill! good luck!
  11. Hi! I'm a recent high school graduate and was wondering if any of you know if there are other younger kids that get into Watts? I've gone to two open house/orientations and it's usually people in their 30s or up with the occasional high school grad. I feel like I'll be the baby of the class, so i'm very nervous about that
  12. I'm taking the exam in October and am so nervous as well! I graduated from High School in June and i'm hoping to get into the January classes or just even get into Watts itself! Good luck!
  13. Wow, that's a real high score! I would definitely like some hints about the test! Can I email or PM/message you then? Thank you so very much!:)
  14. Hi everyone! I'll be taking my Entrance exam for Watts school of nursing in October and I am just freaking out! I've been studying for about two and a half months now, and I feel only half-prepared! I am a mediocre math student, so I was wondering how is the math on the exam? What are the specifics if anyone can help with that? Also, I hear you have to do do paperwork after the exam, anyone know what kind? Any information I should bring with me to the day of the exam? Are we actually submitting our application form or the essay? I'm first generation in my family as well as the first to go to college so I'm really confused on this whole process. Thank you!
