  1. The answer is about $47/hour.
  2. Even in MS, I had to pay out of pocket almost $4000 in taxes!!
  3. Please do not feel discouraged. I used the money after taxes to pay off my loans. I believe they know we would have to use it after taxes. Secondly, I had to enter my information manually as well. Maybe they just have not gone through everyone yet.
  4. So I checked my contact and it was signed on the 7th. I have been awarded the continuation contract! Good luck to all of you! We need this help!
  5. Thank you so much. I will look now!
  6. How do you check your contract?
  7. Me too. I contacted them and asked them about it and they said my application was still under review. But now my service date has changed to make it look like I’ve been awarded an extra year.
  8. I still have not received a credit check.
  9. YES! You do have to pay taxes on it.
  10. I had to call my loan company. The forms they sent me are standardized and I’m hoping HRSA will accept them.
  11. I hope the bill goes through, I had to pay taxes on this this year!! I spoke with a lawyer and accountant, we had to file it as income. When is the deadline, I thought it was March 18th?
  12. Exactly! I’m just going to upload what I have. This is ridiculous.
  13. I entered then manually, but it requires paperwork from your loan servicer.
  14. I totally agree. I put them in manually but now it requires all of this paperwork.
  15. Are you guys getting your loan lenders to provide all of the paperwork for each loan we have to enter manually? This is a bit much!
  16. Hi All, I received a W2 from Nurse Corps this year. If it is added with my jobs W2 when filing income tax, it makes it seem that I made way more than I do. I suppose we still have to claim it? What other tax advice have you guys received? I understand that no one can be held liable to this advice.
  17. I know that this has probably been asked before and I apologize. However, we do have to file the W-2 they send us as taxable income, right?
  18. I have decided to take the leap of faith! My Heath will probably improve as well, thank you for sharing your story.
  19. That is so encouraging! Thank you for your help.
  20. Thank you so much for your reply. I’ve been with this company for about 5 years and they are steady piling on things for us to do despite no staffing. Really? I hadn’t thought of it like that. I guess that doesn’t matter as much.
  21. I am currently at a job in which I dread going to. There is very little organization, sometimes I have to work alone, and I am it gets lonely as it is in a very rural area. But I make a pretty good salary. I have been offered a job at a teaching hospital. I would never have to work as both nurse/lab tech/receptionist/NP, and there is a greater potential to find more people my own age there. BUT, the pay is $3500 a year less. What would you guys do?
  22. I’m really nervous now because I’m not continuing, I’m in my second year.
  23. Is anyone else’s check late this month?
