I'm 1/4 of the way through LVN school and debating on whether I should finish. Reason: I'm hearing there are no jobs available. I'm 50 yrs old and I don't want to waste and invest any more of my time and money if I won't be able to obtain employment once I graduate and get my license.

Thanks for your support! It is such a hard decision part of me wants to go back and part of me doesn't. More than likely I'll be heading back into the program next month and I'll take it from there.

I completed my first semester of the LVN program at my local junior college. I'm debating on whether I should continue and finish the remaining two. I'm hearing there are no jobs and no one hires LVN's anymore. If there is a job opening it's closed to new graduates, only experienced nurses need apply. I live in California, Bay area and through my job research I can attest this is the case. Can any one give me any advice if this is a course I should still pursue?
