Hi everyone, I'll be taking my NCLEX in 2 weeks and I am really freaking out. I have Kaplan and these are my scores: Diagnostics: 74 QT 1: 48! (I was sleepy) QT 2: 64 QT 3: 68 QT 4: 62 QBank, 86% completed -- 59%. I always get a 60%, the occasional low 50's, occasional high 60's, I never score above 70's when I do a 50Q block. I'll be taking all the QT's, Readiness, and sample exams soon as well. I've been studying hard but I don't understand why I can't seem to go past the 60% mark! I'm not sure if it's the anxiety or it's how Kaplan was structured. I am really hoping to score at least at 65% to have the confidence to take the test but being stuck at 60% average is making me more anxious than ever. Any advise would be appreciated. Are these scores OK? How should I approach studying to increase my chances of passing? Thanks!

has anyone tried buying the nurse kit online via Standris Medical Supplies? https://www.standris.com/nurseKits_spragueLite.cfm total cost plus shipping is cheaper than the supplier NVCC suggested.

the class is $120, plus the book costs around $17 at amazon but i think it's available at barnes for $15. registration is online. http://www.nvcc.edu/wdce/mec/courses/alphalist.asp#H click H for Healthcare Provider, BLS/CPR and then that redirects you to the registration and payment page. I was having problems registering online yesterday bec they don't accept all credit cards, but VISA should be fine. it's more expensive than what INOVA offers.

:thankya: I've looked into the INOVA classes after reading through the FB pages. But despite being a bit more expensive, the MEC set-up is best for me. BTW, thank you for putting up the FB page ... very helpful indeed!

I wanted to be in the medical field when I was younger but "life" got in the way, hopefully this is my 2nd chance to go for it. Questions: - has anyone asked if we can buy the package of textbooks and HESI bundle before the orientation? I don't want to be pressured into buying an expensive set, especially when a cheaper source might be available, just because we have barely a week to look for them elsewhere...
