Part Time Studies
I just found out that Loyalist College offers a PT RPN program that runs 3 years. Its three days a week with one week of clinical a month. No classes in the summer for the first two years. Then in the third year it runs all year. They take 26 students and don't start until they have that many. Not sure where you are, but maybe this would work for you. The classes are through the day though from 9:30-3:30. I would love to do this program myself, but Orillia is just too far for me to drive. Classes are in Rama (Orillia) and clinical is in either Midland or Penetanguishne. (sp?)

Rn Degree online? Or PSW bridging program?
I'm in Ontario, and not an LPN. I only have my PSW so I guess that route is out too.

Rn Degree online? Or PSW bridging program?
Is there any way to get an RPN online then?

Rn Degree online? Or PSW bridging program?
I want to get my RN degree but I NEED to do it from home as I am unable to get to a University to do it. The closest schools to me are about an hour away and I just can't do that everyday. I have my PSW, but have not found a program that does bridging from this to RN. Are there any? If so, where? Are there any programs that can be done online to get a basic RN degree online? The only things I am finding are RN-BScN or other.

Unsure wether to pursue Nursing
Hi everyone. I am a week away from starting the nursing program for RPN. The last little while I have been having doubts as to wether or not I should go. I really want to work in the hospital setting, and I have been looking into jobs, and the are almost none in my area that hire RPN's. Really my only options are to work in an older persons home, or homecare, which I have no desire to do. I feel like if I do this course I will be wasting my time and money doing something that will get me a job I don't want. The kind of work I want to do, I will need an Rn to do it. Should I wait and try to get into University or do the program and see where it takes me? I kind of already have made my decision but I thought I would an opinion of someone in the field who are RPNs and RNs and see what you all say about it. Thanks for the help Michelle:)
