LPNt

Since I will be paying out of pocket for excelsior I am looking for the cheapest possible route. Do you have to buy the books? If not how do you learn the material? I have a local library availiable to my access and of course internet. I also have all my LPN books.

Do they except Pell grants?

I have been an LPN for a little over a year now. I am wanting to go possibly try excelsior or an online school offered to get my RN. Does anyone have any experience with this? How long did the program take you? Where would I take my clincals if I live in ohio? How hard is the clinical portion? Does excelsior provide you with everything you need? Also if I ever transfer to another state would my ohio license transfer because I went to this school? I want to start ASAP. I work in home care so I dont get a lot of skills there but I also work PRN at the hospital. Oh and I am also having a hard time figuring out how much it cost.
